Beeman Commander Combo, .22 Caliber

I use Grossman premier hollow point, Benjamin Discovery hollow point, Gammo red fire and so on. No problem with any. I put 4 different pellets in bullseye yesterday from bottom to top in the red. I showed my son and he said "WOW". Sorry I cant' show video shot. All I can say is buy the COMMANDER and see for yourself WC.

I like everything about BEEMAN COMMANDER. Beeman hit the ball out of the park with this MASTER PIECE.

Cons
I I would change nothing on the Commander. Some say this rifle is too heavy. I am almost 77 years and consider this to be an advantage. I shoot this off my Caldwell shooting bags and it just lays right in there @ 75 yards. " WOW" this BEEMAN is dead on accurate.

Great Buy for a first time PCP shooter!

Price! It would be hard to find another quality PCP rifle with the same features and performance for such a low amount of money. Bolt action is silky smooth. Magazines work well and gives a viewable countdown counter on them. Thumbhole feature is great and wood stock quality is good.

Cons
Weight- the rifle is very heavy. If your bench shooting its not a problem but forget taking it in the field. The moderator doesn't appear to be removeable and comparing noise levels to my other PCP rifles this one is loud. Might be a problem with noise sensitive neighbors.

Its not easy to hand pump but good exercise for a young man or woman I'm 65 so I bought a vector compressor all is good now

Plenty of power , great accuracy out of the box . So far the crossman 14.3 hollow points work best but all pellets I've tried work good . I've put approximately 4000 rounds through so far besides the break-in (300 shots) it's worked excellent ! So far I've killed 7 squirrels , 8 pigeons 4 crows and lots of starlings ..

I'd like better magazines one already broke dearing break-in and the single shot tray is hard to load .

Pros
Look what I found under the stock moderator, added a buck rail 8 inch moderator cut the db in half.

The initial pump, if using a hand pump is pretty tough, but a good workout.

Pros
Love the stock, feels great. Finally got everything needed to pump it up and seems to shoot well.

Cons
Bought a combo that comes with a scope, but came with the wrong mounts. Mounts are for a weaver rail and not the dovetail on the receiver. They are thus way too wide to work with the dovetail so now I have to purchase new mounts to use the scope that came in the box. Poor quality control?

Im just a beginner with a few different pieces, but this one is by far my favorite to show FIRST.. Gets lots of WOWS!

The workmanship is incredible at this price point. Accurate straight out of the box.

screw on front cap cover for refill slips on and, is pretty loose..

Not so easy to fill with a hand pump, need to invest in a compressor.

Great gun I only had to upgrade the scope to 4×16×50 a/o sniper scope

The gun shoots and operates fine so far, I have no experience with other brands, but I would by another brand PCP and hope for better service/results. Not a very satisfying experience with Beeman.

1st PCP. Seems to be very accurate. Seems well built. Not too picky on pellets(mine leans toward crosman) Good price.

Cons
Beeman service is horrid. Kit came with wrong scope rings, would not fit reciever. Degassing tool did not have allen head machined into it and cannot be used to degas gun. Cheap magazines. Bolt works rough. Beeman is impossible to get through to, by either phone or email, no response at all. Airgun depot is also either not able or unwilling to help.

This rifle is very muzzle heavy but still a pleasure to shoot.

Love this rifle, the rating is due to the "manufacturer" not Airgun Depot. It is a pleaure to do business with Airgun Depot.

Cons
It weighs a ton. We purchased a Beeman Commander w/scope and when we received it the scope was way out of focus. The seller advised us to contact Beeman for return/repair/replacement. We have tried numerous times to email them, we've used their on-site contact form several times, we have called and left four messages and they do not respond. We gave them over a month to respond. Our final message to them was we would "tell the world" what our experience was with their non existant customer service, so here we are. We love this rifle, we hope it continues to work without breaking down because there is none, zero, nothing, no customer service from Beeman so buyer beware if you buy one you are buying an orphan, not a good buy at any price.

Seriously, if the single shot mechanism was designed better, I'd love this gun. I wish there was a more affordable rifle like this one. PCP is the way to go.

I really liked this rifle right out of the box. My first PCP and it was awesome. I like the power, the fact that you don't have to cock a lever every time you want to shoot. It was easy to sight in with the scope. Very accurate. I hit the bullseye very easy at 50 yards. Small groupings.

Cons
When you shoot this as a single shot, it is easy for the pellets to fall backward into the "bolt chamber" . They can roll down inside the gun to where there must be a seal of some kind and block the gun from getting enough power for the next shot. If you are lucky, you can turn the gun up side down and shake the pellet out. However, I purchased and returned two of these guns for this reason. The last gun started to leak air from the main air tank. I assume that a pellet I couldn't retrieve got stuck somewhere inside the gun and somehow compromised the system.
