Pros
This is an amazing machine, to say the very least. came from factory with reg set at 130 bar and in .22 calibre with the 600mm barrel. i am getting 875/880 average fps with the 22 grain .217 FX hybrid slugs with port at .25/.30 and Max hammer wheel, no hammer screw adjustment and with the 18.13 JSBs i average 975/980 on Max but gun loves them at 949 avg which i get on port .177/.22 and 4 on hammer wheel.
Cons
the infamy of the FX factory gauges are very true, i had to replace them with Huma gauges and it was so bad that even when off the gun, the gauge reading the regulator was stuck on 20 bar even when off the gun.
2). if you are looking to get this thinking youll get the AMP regulator you are likely NOT going to get one with it as fx released a thread stating only crowns with serial numbers 181700 and highly will have the AMP regulator, mine is 180045, whats bad its all VP Crowns are advertised to have the AMP reguator so keep that in mind.
3) this gun is also advertised to come with the new sideshot 18 round magazine, John/Jon from FX stated that they all come with the AMP and sideshot i apparently got none of those with my VP, disappointing but the gun works well. its just bad to advertise a particular thing only to provide different.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.would like to know ballistics of gun. what is drop off of round at 150 yds if zero is at 50. will be using light weight bullet. also spec shows a 45 round count on one fill. how many true rounds can be shot with accuracy

Pros
Just received my FX Crown VP MkII and overall I am very impressed. I matched it with a Leepers UTS Accushot scope and it shoots much more accurately than I can! The FX 44.8 grain pellets are a bit faster, flatter trajectory and more accurate than the FX 50.2 grain pellets, but the heavier pellet will work great to help deter our growing coyote problem. The rifle is supper quiet! The pellet hitting the target is louder than the report of the rifle. The magazine and side lever make for quick cycling for follow up shots. I like having the indicators for tank and regulator pressures, but they are in a odd place and require flipping the gun over to check tank pressures. However, a fill will get you 30+ shots (.30 cal) with tank pressure drop from 240bar to 180bar with regulator set at 150bar. When mounting a scope , use taller mounts and make sure it will clear the magazine. The Accushot scope had to be mounted as far aft as possible to allow for magazine clearance.
Cons
The gun with scope is heavy (8.8lb) and does not have sling attachment points which makes it awkward to carry for very long. Even though it is heavy, it is well balanced. The manual is also lacking. The regulator is finicky and mine was not set correctly from the factory. It took some tinkering to get it set correctly. The regulator system seems like the weak point as there are lots of warnings in the manual about not setting pressure to high; do not use with tank pressure below regulator set point; etc. Ergonomically the stock is a bit small for me and could just some adjustability. Operationally, it would be nice to be able to load the magazine and have the gun decocked without the side lever sicking out. There is not a means of installing a magazine and closing the action with loading a pellet into the chamber. The side lever is quick and easy to cycle, but does not have a good positive latch as is easy to bump out of the full lock position.
